Return Policy

All artwork and products ordered through the Artist Jacqueline Powell Gibson and Dot JPG Designs websites are created, printed, packaged, or commissioned specifically for each customer. Because of the custom and handmade nature of these items, all sales are final. Artist Jacqueline Powell Gibson {Dot JPG Designs} does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, incorrect ordering, or buyer's remorse.

If you have questions about a product before placing your order, please contact the artist. Every effort is made to accurately represent each artwork and product; however, slight variations in color may occur due to monitor settings and the handmade nature of original artwork.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact the artist immediately if your item is damaged during transit, defective, or if you receive the wrong item. Notification must be made within 24 hours of delivery and should include your order number along with clear photographs of the item and its packaging so the issue can be evaluated and an appropriate resolution provided.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

All items sold through this website are non-returnable, including but not limited to:

Original artwork
Commissioned artwork
Custom portraits
Personalized products
Made-to-order artwork and prints
Digital downloads and digital artwork
Sale or clearance items
Gift cards

Each original artwork and hand-drawn portrait created by artist Jacqueline Powell Gibson is unique. Minor variations in brushwork, line quality, texture, watercolor application, and color are part of the original artistic process and are not considered defects. Likewise, slight color differences between digital screens and the physical artwork are expected and do not qualify for a return, exchange, or refund.

Exchanges

Artist Jacqueline Powell Gibson {Dot JPG Designs} does not offer exchanges. If an order arrives damaged or an incorrect item is received, a replacement or other appropriate resolution may be offered at the sole discretion of the artist.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For orders shipped to the European Union, customers may have certain rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

However, pursuant to Article 16(c) of the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized. As the majority of products sold through this website, including commissioned artwork, original artwork, personalized items, and made-to-order products, are custom-made, they are generally exempt from the 14-day cancellation period.

If a product is eligible under applicable law, it must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Please contact dotjpgdesigns@gmail.com with any questions regarding eligibility.

Refunds

Refunds are only considered in cases where an order cannot be fulfilled, a replacement is unavailable for an item that arrived damaged or incorrect, or when otherwise required by applicable law.

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for your financial institution to process and post the refund after it has been issued.

Shipping Policy

At Dot JPG Designs, every piece of artwork is thoughtfully created, carefully packaged, and prepared for its journey to you. Each order is handled with care by artist Jacqueline Powell Gibson to ensure your artwork arrives safely and ready to enjoy.

Processing & Turnaround Times

All orders will be shipped within the turnaround time or preorder timeline listed on the individual product listing. Turnaround times may vary depending on the artwork, product type, availability, and whether an item is made-to-order.

If a turnaround time or preorder date is not specifically listed, please allow 3–4 weeks for your order to be completed, packaged, and shipped.

Please note that turnaround times begin after your order has been placed and are based on the time needed to create, prepare, and carefully package your artwork. Custom artwork, commissions, and personalized pieces may have different timelines, which will be communicated during the ordering process.

Packaging & Handling

Each order is carefully packaged by artist Jacqueline Powell Gibson using appropriate materials to help protect your artwork during transit. Artwork, prints, and handmade goods are wrapped and secured with care before leaving the studio.

Because each piece is individually prepared and packaged, slight variations in packaging materials may occur depending on the size, format, and needs of your order.

Shipping Carrier & Delivery

All orders are shipped using UPS. Once your order has been packaged and handed over to UPS, you will receive tracking information when available so you can follow your package’s journey.

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate at the time of purchase. Dot JPG Designs is not responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

Damaged, Delayed, Lost, or Missing Packages

While every order is carefully packaged before leaving the studio, Dot JPG Designs and artist Jacqueline Powell Gibson are not responsible for damage, delays, loss, theft, missing packages, or other shipping-related issues once the package has been transferred to UPS.

If an issue occurs after your order has left the studio, all shipping concerns, claims, or assistance requests must be handled directly through UPS. We are happy to provide any available order details or documentation needed to assist with the shipping resolution process.

By placing an order with Dot JPG Designs, you acknowledge and agree that responsibility for the package transfers to the shipping carrier once the order leaves the artist’s hands.
